Los Pobladores Historic 8.6 Mile Walk

First Sunday in September, 6:00 AM Start.
3 hr historic walk from the San Gabriel Mission to Olvera St

Historic walk reinacts the 1781 walk of 44 people (Los Pobladores - the settlers) from the San Gabriel Mission to establish El Pueblo de la Reina de Los Angeles de Porciuncula - see route map. After the walk, enjoy the festivities in the Plaza and Olvera St.. Then catch the #487 bus on the south side of Union Station for the ride back to the San Gabriel Mission. Fare is $1.85 or $.85 for seniors and they leave every19 minutes after the hour.
